Just tried the falafel sandwich here for the first time! It was very good and came out fresh! Loved how I could taste the herbs used in the falafel. The pickled vegetables on the side are also good! Very filling for the price! I will be back

Batman grill is tucked inside the Super Mercado and is the only place in the area I have found good shwarma. The owner was very friendly and welcoming.

We had extremely delicious salad, yellow lentil soup, and kofta kebab. They also had yummy black tea. The restaurant is located in an international supermarket and gave me the chance to purchase some international groceries while waiting for our food.

Amazing middle eastern restaurant in the aimmart super market. Tried the lamb haneeth and the portion is perfect to share between 2-3 people! There’s a new owner now and they say there’s a buffet on Fridays and Saturdays, so I’ll definitely have to try it out!

Unfortunately, as on May 2024, the ownership changed and the chef left. I hope the new team will be as good. And now to the original review: This tiny restaurant inside the AIM supermarket changed hands in recent months and now offers Middle Eastern cuisine with an Egyptian influence. And for the month of the Ramadan holiday they have a dinner buffet, which is a great opportunity to try "home cooking" dishes that you will typically not find on restaurant menus. Though I believe you can still order from the regular menu, if you so choose. There is a nice selection of appetizers, three soups, vegetarian stews, chicken and lamb entrees. The dessert section is very basic. But overall, the selection is better and more extensive than other Ramadan buffet dinners in the city. The service is very friendly, and the staff was happy to answer questions. But it's all pretty informal. If you want a soda, you get it from the fridge yourself. If they don't have the beverage you want, you can get it from the supermarket where the restaurant is at. Note that the place is very casual. It was the cafeteria area of the Marsh Supermarket that used to be there before going out of business a few years ago. Bottomline - don't miss the holiday buffet for an unusual culinary experience.
